When our 9yr old pit mix Stella needed a liver lobectomy we were concerned if she was even a candidate or if it would be successful. Our primary Vet and the Internist from AVSG both recommended VSS and Dr. Peter Sebestyen. His knowledge, expertise and compassion immediately put us at ease and the surgery was a success! The post-op care was amazing! The caring nurses and friendly support staff kept us informed of her recovery and even sent us a pic after she had eaten her first meal. That put our minds at ease. After discharge, Stella had issues with one of the meds but Dr. Sebestyen and the nurses assisted in finding a solution and kept checking in on Stella throughout the day. Dr. Sebestyen even called over the weekend to see how she was feeling, which we appreciated. Major surgery on a senior dog is a serious decision but we are glad that we listened to the skilled Vets who recommended VSS and Dr. Peter Sebestyen. A Solid Team of Professionals and Staff who we highly recommend!!
