At our hospital, Integrity means taking our responsibilities seriously, especially when others are counting on us.
That’s why our team is proud to support the vital work of the Search Dog Foundation (SDF). When search and rescue dogs are preparing for emergency deployment, we help ensure they are medically ready for the demands of the job by completing health certificates, reviewing medical requirements and performing full physical exams.
Our team also participates in mock deployment trainings alongside firefighters and SDF volunteers. Experiencing these scenarios firsthand gives our clinicians a better understanding of what these dogs and their handlers encounter in the field and helps us provide care with those demands in mind.
For us, Integrity means being thorough, following through on our commitments and understanding the responsibility that comes with our expertise. We’re proud to play a small but important role in preparing these incredible dogs and the teams who rely on them to respond when their communities need them most.
