We have used the facility twice over the past months. Both times, Dr. Lessard provided our elderly dog with the best possible care. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and devoted a great deal of time both to our dog and to us, explaining the issues and detailing the treatment options. She even conferred with our surgeon (after hours) about the best course to pursue. We remain very grateful to her and AVSG Emerfency!

Dr. Joyce Wong is an amazing vet doctor. She is so knowledgeable and caring with the animals. I came in such panic and she was so calming and reassuring and spent so much time with me explaining every question I had and took her time with us. Also the technician Sally is also so sweet and patient as well. They are a wonderful staff.

The staff is great and kept us informed of what was going on or why it was taking so long to be seen. They explained everything they did and instruction for us to follow and you can tell they are concerned for your pet's wellbeing. Great client service care. The overall care for both my dog and us. Had a great experience when we brought our dog here. They saw him quickly and we were all treated very well. Can't compliment Dr. Wong enough for her thorough explanations and compassionate care.

All staff (and the doctor) were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the interactions were not rushed. There was enough time to ask questions and reach a consensus on an action plan without feeling pressured. We were helped by two staff members (whose names I unfortunately can't recall) and Dr. Beaman, and they were all wonderful :) We were seen immediately, everyone was friendly, patient, and helpful, and the treatment plan we arrived at together made sense. The veterinarian you see may be inclined to suggest the most comprehensive set of diagnostics along with a multi-night hospitalization, as their incentive is to leave no stone unturned and apply the maximum level of precaution. That being said, it is not a high pressure sales environment, so you can collaboratively narrow down the action plan to the highest-priority items that make sense given your pet’s condition.

Experience was positive from check-in to check-out for my emergency situation with a dog which had food bloat.

Friendly staff

Took my sweet senior dog to our regular vet and got some worrying chest Xrays, so we took him to AVSG. Dr Wong saw him immediately, was so thorough, so patient explaining to us what tests she thought he needed and why, and did every test to figure out what was going on. It was the worst possible news for my guy and we had to put him down the following morning, and I just got a handwritten card from AVSG expressing their sympathy. At the time I was so thankful for how patient and kind all the staff was, answering all of our questions and making sure he was stable to take home for one last night, and now I am so blown away to get a handwritten card from them. I have 100% confidence they did all that could have been done to save him and cannot recommend them highly enough for incredibly vet care and really above and beyond kindness.

AVSG and VSS have the most caring staff and veterinarians. They're super organized and actually empathetic unlike many other veterinary hospitals. The veterinarians are smart and knowledgeable!

Amazing doctor! Met with Dr. Cieplucha at first who was wonderful and then Dr. Summers took over for critical care and was so great! She is friendly and knowledgeable and the staff also-everyone was compassionate which is what you need when you are going through a critical situation with your pet. They kept me updated and even gave me a text message where I could ask questions 24/7. My Yorkie was in great hands. She is home now recovering and doing well.
