Dr. V and her Team were amazing! This is the second time we consulted Dr. V for more difficult health issues with our Pit Mix. She helped to navigated us through a difficult decision and pre testing for surgery and we are so grateful! The outcome was positive and Stella is on the road to recovery and doing great! Our dog, Parker, had a complicated surgery at another veterinary hospital which quickly turned life threating due to multiple factors. The surgeon there recommended taking our dog to AVSG right away. We rushed Parker there in the middle of the night from over an hour away. Their emergency team met us in the parking lot. It was immediately apparent that the doctors had the necessary emergency and critical care expertise. We cannot say enough about Dr. Summers, who heads their critical care unit and supervised and coordinated his care, Dr. Spillane who addressed his failing kidneys, and the technicians who knew Parker by name and treated him as if he was their dog . He needed an additional surgery which was expertly provided by Dr Keeshen at the affiliated surgery center next door. Without this team we would have lost our beloved pet.

Board certified surgeons, knowledgeable staff, efficient yet caring and thorough. Every person on the team, from intake and meeting with the staff who took Raymond for bloodwork, etc. to the surgeon for his surgery and the emergency surgeon who ended up doing the procedure, as well as the after care team…I am so grateful and knew he was in good hands every step of the way. Thank you for the work you do! They were compassionate and I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. I knew that if they couldn't help my Raymond, no one could. I felt this was the best choice of care for my baby.

Wanted to say a huge thank you to Dr Summers and Dr Vail and amazing staff members at AVSG. Everyone who we got a chance to speak with were extremely caring and empathetic. Our cat had urinary blockage and while it was stressful for us, thanks to the staff at AVSG he recovered nicely and came home in just 3 days. Thanks to long visit hours we were able to come after work and were very happy with the level of care he received. The team was also updating us daily and Dr’s were available for any questions we had. We appreciate what the team did beyond words and are very thankful! PS. Burt Macklin says hi!

Dr. Tondo is caring, empathetic, knowledgeable, etc. Staff is great too! No appointment necessary is very important in time of need for our furbabies.

All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I brought my dog in for an emergency after he was injured by another dog, and the care and attentiveness they showed — not only to my pet but to us as well during such a stressful time truly went above and beyond. They treat so well, providing all the necessary information. Answer all the questions I had while also being understanding of the hard time that one can be going through. This place was great, the continuity of info from previous vet was great. Super compassionate, vet was attentive, office staff very accommodating and technical staff professional and compassionate.

At 6 a.m. on a Saturday, my 15‑year‑old pit/lab mix suddenly began having trouble breathing and standing. I rushed him to AVSG and was immediately met with the kindest, most compassionate, and understanding team. I was faced with an impossible decision as a pet owner, and the staff guided me through every step with genuine care, patience, and grace. During one of the hardest moments of my life, they provided space when I needed it, offered unwavering support, and cared for both me and my dog with extraordinary compassion. I will forever be grateful for the respect, empathy, and comfort they gave us during such a difficult time.

AVSG is a great ER clinic. They have good clinicians who were knowledgeable and to genuinely care about my little dog. The staff were kind, courteous, and helpful. I really appreciated the receptionist who took my call and scheduled an appointment for my little dog on the same day. Thank you SVSG!

We were extremely pleased with the service here. All the staff here is so incredibly kind. Our dog Dozer had to stay overnight due to respiratory distress, which ended up being heart failure. They took so well care of our dog, didn’t seem annoyed by our constant calls for updates and let us visit him multiple times. Thank you AVSG for all your help and kindness!
