Their care for my dog was truly outstanding, and I appreciate the support they offered during the post-operative period, including allowing us to call for updates. Dr. Sebestyen is an excellent surgeon who is not only experienced but also empathetic and kind. His ability to communicate clearly made a significant difference. Additionally, the post-op staff were remarkable. They took the time to explain my dog’s condition and even sent a picture, which brought me great comfort. I cannot recommend Veterinary Surgical Specialists enough, which is why we have been long-time clients.

I took my Pitty there to check reason for limping. X-rays were done and surgery was scheduled immediately. The doctor was amazing and the whole staff made it easy. So much compassion and support. And there is even 24/7 phone service for questions. I highly recommend this vet.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. When my boy Tucker was diagnosed with an aggressively growing tumor, I was devastated. I called nearly 30 different clinics, and all of them were either too busy or couldn’t see him for weeks. But this clinic stepped up — they brought him in the very next day and even performed surgery on a Saturday. Thanks to their fast action and compassion, I was gifted several more precious months with my sweet boy. Dr. Keeshen is truly exceptional. He’s not only incredibly skilled but also deeply devoted to the animals he cares for. I genuinely believe he did everything humanly possible to give Tucker more time. Throughout the year, he performed several last-minute surgeries without hesitation — something I’ll never forget. To Dr. Keeshen and the entire team: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because of you, I got more time with a one-of-a-kind dog who will forever have a special place in my heart.

From the front desk to the nurse to Dr. Cambridge to the overnight nurses I felt everyone truly cared about Ellie. Dr. Cambridge was thorough in explaining the surgery, the nurses never felt rushed when asking numerous post op questions and the overnight nurse that was with Ellie sent pictures during her stay. Ellie is part of our family and I feel her wellbeing was top priority from her team. Empathy displayed

I can't thank VSS enough. I had read about them and Dr. Sebastyen on a chylothorax group on FB. Everyone said he was the best surgeon on dealing with this awful condition. From the moment we called and Natalie was able to find us an appointment , to every check up appointment and follow up, they have been professional, caring and thorough. My little guy is healing well after his procedure and I know it's because the doctor and staff took real good care of him. Thank you Dr. Sebastyen, we will always be grateful for you! We had a great experience with all the staff but I would highlight Natalie for finding me an appointment so quickly as I had to find a specialist after leaving the emergency room with my little Oliver. The kindness and genuine care throughout this entire process was amazing.

I really enjoyed the level of care and attention provided. I was always able to call or email if I had a question and always received a timely response. I felt heard and I really appreciated being able to check in on my dog throughout her stay. All staff have been amazing. I love that we have been able to see the same vet tech when available. From our initial visit to our most recent appointment. It feels good to see them same person who recognizes your pet and knows their story. Being able to contact anyone with questions 24/7. I was always able to reach someone and have a timely response.

Excellent work by the team. Outcome was exactly what I hoped for. Service was a bit more expensive than I expected, but within the initial estimate range provided by the team. Dr Keeshen could not have done better. My dog needed a large mass of soft tissue removed and the whole process went perfectly. The team also noticed my dog's untreated heart problem and we're now on appropriate medication. Excellent surgical results
