I have, unfortunately, had to bring my dog here several times for separate issues (he's kind of a lemon, bless his sweet [defective] heart)—but the folks at VSS are always very welcoming, professional, and excellent at keeping you in the loop at every stage of your pet's care. Shout out to Dr. Keeshen who has seen my dog way too often, but still has the patience of a saint. 😂

I have to say What an incredible and wonderful experience that I had Veterinary Surgical Specialists! From the very kind and sweet receptionists, the caring and loving technicians and caretakers, super professional nurses and most importantly the surgeon Dr Peter Sebestyen. The doctor was confident and careful and did a beautiful job on my little buddys surgery. He explained all the risks and everything that was going to happen and spent a lot of time with me so that there was no surprises. He removed part of my dogs liver with a very large mass in it and less that 5 days later my dog is as good as new! Even the stitching is well done . Dr Sebestyen is the top animal surgeon in America. (He even has BEST in his last name)!! The follow up and quick responses from him and the team were really appreciated. An exceptional facility with exceptional staff. Our golden retriever developed a cystic mass on his tail that required surgical removal. This type of care is very stressful for both us and our dog, particularly as he had to spend the night. The demeanor and sensitivity of everyone from Dr Cambridge to the night nurses was exceptionally reassuring. Even small things like the note on his discharge paperwork that "Rufus was a brave boy" were very helpful. We had confidence that Rufus was receiving the best possible care in a safe, welcoming environment.

My dog Oliver had to have a luxating patella surgery on his right back knee. The care and empathy that he received was excellent.Oliver has been in and out of Vets but Veternary Surgical Speacialist was superior to all others. The surgery was a success but most of all the love and care he received made the whole process easy.

There is no one else we trust with our pets for surgery. They have been with us through both the heartache of losing a beloved dog, where they provided kindness and empathy to taking care of our now senior rescue pup for both emergent and routine surgeries. I cannot recommend them enough. Communication and follow up is excellent.

Let me see. Since walked in the door the first time with Jake the personnel were attentive and helpful. The 14 day recheck and staple removal was done so efficiently I really was shocked. They came to my car and helped with a 106 pound Pit Mix and walked him in to see the surgeon and we're back in the lobby in what seemed to be easily less than 10 minutes. They helped loading him up and we were on the road in what can only be viewed as remarkable by me. I wasn't out of my car more than 10 minutes start to finish. Unreal in my world. Damn near everything went well. Absolutely no complaints.

If you need surgery for your loving pet don't hesitate to go to Veterinarians Surgical Specialists in Tustin California. They have a loving and very professionally trained staff. We had surgeon Dr Sebastian and he was absolutely fabulous, couldn't ask for a better outcome. Baby had the Teca bo surgery, the whole ear canal had to be removed due to Baby 's strong resistants to antibiotics. Baby is so much more perky now, we made the right decision for her.

Dr Sebestyen and team were amazing!!! So kind, patient and took such amazing care of my baby Cooper. Dr Sebestyen was so kind empathetic and you can tell he loves dogs and what he does. He super thorough and very smart. Dr Sebestyen and his team were the best!!

Dr Cambridge & staff are outstanding. The C/S was excellent! One thing I did need was a detailed explanation of the surgery estimated wait time. For the staff it's routine. For a new dog owner I needed more information! I also needed thorough information about receiving the grants, during checkout. Also, If I didn't think to ask the questions I would not have the answers. If my dog is 4th in line for surgery I want to know. Now I know why the vet did not call at estimated time. Just a few hiccups! Over all my dog was happy with all employees and so was I. Thank you staff for being excellent employee's. My experience at this office was positive. My dog had excellent care, surgery, thank you Dr Cambridge! Yes, I highly recommend this office. I met People at this veterinary office from Palm springs, Redlands. Dr. Keeshen and his team at VSS are absolutely amazing! When we discovered a mass on my dog’s toe, we were referred to VSS, and from the very start, the level of care and compassion was unmatched. Dr. Keeshen walked me through every possible scenario before ultimately helping me make the difficult decision to amputate her toe. He answered all my questions with patience and kindness, ensuring I fully understood every option. Given her age and a newly discovered heart condition, he took every precaution to keep her safe. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They took the time to answer our questions and were very professional. We were initially nervous about our dog having open chest surgery, but after the consultation, we knew that our dog would be in good hands. Dr. Craig and her vet tech/assistant were amazing! I appreciated the time taken to continually check on our pet and provide us with updates post-op, especially the initial call directly from the vet. You could tell the staff truly cares about the animals they help.
