Treated my pet with extraordinary care and explained everything they would be doing
Great Doctor and supporting staff
Our 9-year old Labrador, Zeus, developed mast cell cancer on his prepuce, a very sensitive area and one that makes it difficult for surgeons to get sufficient margins around the cancer. Dr. Freeshen accomplished this difficult task and Zeus is healing brilliantly. Fortunately, the cancer was low grade, which does not typically come back, giving me confidence my trusty sidekick will be by my side for several more years. Expensive, but peace of mind is valuable.
Great experience. Hospital was in touch throughout entire process, even when our dog stayed overnight. I trusted that he was in good hands.
We went in scared and worried about our little girl. But after meeting our Doctor , knew she would be in good hands. This Doctor and his great support team did a wonderful job with our little girl.
Very happy with the surgery performed by Thomas Keeshen, DVM, on our 13yr old dog Eddy. The delicate surgery to remove Eddy's perianal lumps was a complete success and luckily they turned out to be benign. Eddy's recovery was fast and he is doing great. Thank you Dr. Keeshen for your expertise and care and many thanks to the kind care team staff at the Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Tustin. We will see you again should the need arise. When our 9yr old pit mix Stella needed a liver lobectomy we were concerned if she was even a candidate or if it would be successful. Our primary Vet and the Internist from AVSG both recommended VSS and Dr. Peter Sebestyen. His knowledge, expertise and compassion immediately put us at ease and the surgery was a success! The post-op care was amazing! The caring nurses and friendly support staff kept us informed of her recovery and even sent us a pic after she had eaten her first meal. That put our minds at ease. After discharge, Stella had issues with one of the meds but Dr. Sebestyen and the nurses assisted in finding a solution and kept checking in on Stella throughout the day. Dr. Sebestyen even called over the weekend to see how she was feeling, which we appreciated. Major surgery on a senior dog is a serious decision but we are glad that we listened to the skilled Vets who recommended VSS and Dr. Peter Sebestyen. A Solid Team of Professionals and Staff who we highly recommend!!
I appreciate how Dr. Walker took the time to show me (with a model) exactly how the surgery would be done and let me ask all the questions I needed to feel comfortable. I also appreciate how the office staff worked with me to get Gracie's appointments done around the craziness of evacuation and last days of the school year,
My dog, Brooklyn's second surgical procedure, and once again, a very positive experience. Your staff and medical team was kind, and very attentive.
Dr. Walker and all the vet techs were so helpful, attentive and comforting!
